AVATA and MAD Global join forces to present Picnic, a celebration of digital fashion and art during London’s Fashion Week with events taking place the 16th, 17th and 18th of September 2022.
Picnic explores the craft and impact of digital fashion via a programme of talks, panels and curated digital fashion and art experiences from an international selection of leading artists and designers.
Hosted at W1 Immersive in Clerkenwell, the newly refurbished events venue on Timber Street features 23 meters of LED screens that immerse the viewer in a visual feast, alongside a networking and conference space.
Expect world leading designers, artists and thought-leaders from web3 fashion celebrating the digital fashion movement. A one of a kind event during London Fashion Week 2022.

Into the Metaverse
Steve Baltay is a remarkable 3D artist who delicately balances between being beautiful and grotesque, between being familiar and surreal, and between being logical and absurd. He was born in California and was interested in the artistry form of Claymation in his childhood years. Steven Baltay has re-invented motion graphics. He works in 3d renders, looping the most imaginative sequences to be seen on Instagram. His beautiful and complex 3d art challenges the space for 3d renders and brings the inner weird out in us all. From rubber to slime, he dominates these magical video loops.

Andreas Christidis, began his career as a self-taught Art Director and Digital 3D Artist with a life enveloped in 3D Colorful-art, representing & captivating Digital Fashion in its flare. He combines a variety of shapes, colors and tools to create visual intricacies of his own unique style. He is best known for his expression of strong digital cf by pushing the boundaries of digital art.
Denova is a 3D and VFX artist residing from London with over 13 years of experience. His attention to detail and passion for the art form has allowed him to seamlessly facilitate some of the worlds biggest videos, live performances and TV productions.

Max Salzborn is a digital fashion designer and 3D motion graphics artist from Hamburg, Germany. The majority of his professional work revolves around product visualization, especially for clients in the fashion industry.

Tim Bret Day began his career as a rock Photographer, but before long his head was turned by the bright lights and glamour of the Fashion industry. He honed his craft via commissions for iconic publications like The Face, Marie Claire and Elle. Through this his unique and distinctive style soon became, a much in demand, trademark.
He is represented by JG Contemporary.
Christos Lianopoulos or "Tookee", is a digital artist based in Athens, Greece. He creates art that is focused on the contrast between shapes, colours, textures & light. Much of his work contains the elements of harmony and balance but on the other hand some pieces are truly aggressive
Stephy Fung is a 3D digital fashion artist based in London. Her work frames vibrant colours and balanced composition, paying homage to her Chinese heritage and to also educate her audiences on the culture. Her designs have been a way to explore and express her British Chinese identity and she hopes to fuse modern techniques/cuts with traditional Chinese elements.
Future Positive are creating a new vision of the digital wardrobe for the Metaverse and exploring the intersection between fashion and technology to bring innovative and sustainable ways to redefine the future of fashion.

King Debs is a multimedia artist based in Cape Town, South Africa. Debs draws his influences from his Tswana heritage and lived experiences as a child, born in Mafikeng and growing up in Tshwane (Pretoria). King Debs focuses primarily on African identity, scriptoria, handstyles, and indigenous ideographics. Debs has created a visual language to represent a futuristic version of South Africa.
ikon-1 is Nick Knight's first foray into the world of NFTs and the beginning of a new virtual chapter for SHOWstudio. 8,000 photorealistic avatars made in collaboration with Jazzelle —the model and Instagram star also known as @uglyworldwide — will be minted as NFTs that will act as a portal for owners to access a new era of beauty and style in the Metaverse. It will also be the key to discovering the latest Web 3.0 based projects from Nick Knight and SHOWstudio.
Jivomir is a designer and a visual artist, endlessly trying to foresee the future and reimagine it. He is obsessed with form and shape and a balance achieved both from symmetry and asymmetry. Creative Director / Designer Jivomir Domoustchiev Fashion Brand launched 2016 ongoing. Exploring Purity in Future Fashion Sculpture Design and expression through fashion Film and Fashion Photography. He is best known for working with vinyl to achieve a futuristic unapologetic limitless expression silhouette.
ARTISANT is a digital fashion WEB3 platform, where you can find curated fashion wearable drops and a marketplace with fashion collectable NFTs by talented artists.
ARTISANT focuses on curated metaverse web3 fashion collections created by the most prominent artists and designers from all around the world. Each curated collection is meant to go beyond with web3 metaverse utility.
The Fabricant is a decentralised digital-only couture house operating at the intersection of fashion, blockchain and gaming since 2018. Its virtual garments explore the concept of fluidity, both in their aesthetic and within the context of the digital environment, where self expression can exist beyond the fixed boundaries of fashion and gender in the physical world. Its recently launched co-creation platform The Fabricant Studio allows anyone to collaborate on digital-only collections, creating NFT garments to be worn and traded in the metaverse.
We live in a labyrinth of mirrors where algorithms only show us the reflection of our ego. This reflection, in the current paradigm of overexposure to social media, generates an increase in false proximity that only diminishes the tolerance we individuals have for otherness, for difference. At the same time, every step we take brings us closer to the next paradigm, where the limits between digital and physical realities are blurred under our feet.
Superficial is an art and design studio expanding fashion and culture into multi-dimensional digital realities. Alongside their studio practice they established the Virtual Fashion Archive—an online space bringing archival fashion into new virtual possibilities.
